Between the ages of 2 to 5, I knew I wanted to be some sort of an entertainer. My youthful imagination was opened by three Females-Marilyn Monroe, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Britney Spears. My dream was all I could think about. Their world had an undeniable glamour that captured me from my earliest of memories and coming from a family of I’d guess you can say Rednecks I was a different kind of Travis. One that would add a whole new kind of sass to my family tree. In this post I’m giving those of you who read a tiny piece of my history and in honor of Pride Month a look into when I knew something about my feelings were colorful.
Don’t allow what others have to say influence how you view yourself or how you view people. Have an open mind when it comes to learning about others. The experience can be once in a lifetime. Keep your pride humble because everyone should have a sense of pride in themselves. - Paul Travis
Ideally everyone has a common knowledge or have heard about affirmations but the role they play psychologically can be very beneficial. The word affirmation was first originated from the Latin term affirmare, which means “to make steady, strengthen.” It’s scientifically proven they purify our thoughts by giving restructure to the dynamic of our brain. In March I did a 31 day project on Instagram where I posted an affirmation daily to help those who need a boost in their confidence and self-esteem. In this post I regrouped the list to give a more in-depth view on them.
Why not make life your canvas and create it on your terms. Why not give yourself the chance others have. One thing all successful people have in common is confidence, but it wasn’t handed to us. We earned it. I want to see each of you shine blissfully with the confidence you deserve.

The Art Of Balance: Welcome To My World Part Three takes you into my most peaceful place, writing and how my philosophy is when I am working on my craft. In part one I gave you how crazy my schedule is behind the scenes for photoshoots and in part two I shared my music schedule. My whole career has always been about writing and it will always be. When it's time to work on my books, blog posts, columns and any other writing endevors I feel like I'm where I truly belong. It's the core of my career and the passion behind who I am.
Writing is every piece of me mixed with a wide range of emotions. It usually reflects my mouth I never know what's going to come out! Everything I have to say comes with a great message in the end. I speak from my heart and soul. I take my writing very serious but it's so fun to be a writer. It's my purpose in life and I'm enjoying the ride.
The first part of this blog post series "The Art Of Balance: Welcome To My World" I introduced behind the scenes for photoshoots. For today I am giving you a look into how my music is made and how everything comes together, along with my philosophy on my vision for it. I know I received mixed reviews on how I sound, sing or if I even have musical talent. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I don't agree with it because they don't know my background and I don't need their approval to live my life. They have to put me down because it's to protect their ego. Be sure to check out my new single link is at the bottom of the post.
It's rather simple, my sound can be stated as trashy dance pop music you love or hate. Written to empower others with confidence and about being a man's worst nightmare-Paul Travis
Welcome To My World Part One is taking you into my dressing room and giving a private tour into my photoshoots. There is no denial I'm a workaholic. As a boyfriend, friend, entrepreneur, author, singer, lifestyle blogger and columnist I can struggle with the art of balance. There are moments I feel I don't have enough time nor energy to devote myself to all my passions and responsibilities. My world is 24/7 craziness, but somehow I make sure it works. In this new blog post series for my Lifestyle blog I'm giving an exclusive behind the scenes look at what exactly I do and the philosophy of my many visions.
Once the silver lights begin to surround me I own every aspect of who I am. I let go of all my insecurities and work the angles of each camera. I become a work of art-Paul Travis
