I was supposed to release an EP this year so some of my music listeners got mad at me but fear not if you are one of them sending comments, here is a DEMO of a song from the summer sessions.
A lot of craziness went down this year and I needed to refocus myself on my novel series, my lifestyle blog and other writing projects. The next time I release a music project it will be much more polished and refined. I need to work with a variety of different people and meet with them before I put the energy and time into something this extensive because I want to showcase my talent different from what has been done music wise for me. If you enjoy my music, hope you enjoy this demo! Thank you! Stay Cute, xoxo All Rights Reserved. Copyrighted By Me And BMI.
Each New Year the social media world shares how it’s going to be the best yet but sometimes (most times) things happen in which we can not control—and suddenly that motivation dies. Darkness creeps in and we feel defeated, or you might feel like that now. Either way don’t fret yourself we’ve all been there before, it’s part of this wild journey called life. From years of studying psychology, the social scene and dedicating my work to helping others I learned 11 growth hacks through my own journey and speaking to a variety of people that can help you achieve a happier life.
This October I launched my rebranded lifestyle blog but tried to post randomly before. Today I'm gathering the top 4 posts released this year. Check out the links below!
This is the first full-length piece of poetry I've written in such a longtime and I'm very excited to share it with you all. Inspired from a transformation I've undergone emotionally, physically and spiritually, but with my creative twist of course. It's my favorite poem I've ever written and most empowering. In my opinion it's my best as well! I hope the wait was worth it, because I know some of you have been itching for a new one. I now present you with 'Queen.' Enjoy!
Finally realize nothing can stop me...I’m a Queen.- Paul Travis
Once upon a time in the year of 2013 I was a hot mess when it came to dating. I cringe thinking of how I acted during that entire year. I went from being a strong independent person who didn’t need no man to a crying over guys left and right. I definitely hadn’t a clue on how to truly date or how “boys” really were, but let me tell ya…I learned quick. During a chilly October night I encountered the worst of them all.
But the night had become so awful my eyes shifted to the ceiling. I thought, “God, you had your chances I’m becoming a ho.” It was during those moments when my phone lit and my now boyfriend of 4 years finally texted, “Do you wanna hangout tonight?” It only took him, what? Two years to ask! - Paul Travis Hello everyone I just wanted to share that there is a huge blog revamp under way with my lifestyle blog; a new name (A Lifestyle Created From Being Too Sassy) with new categories and much more. Stay tuned - xo
p.s changes are under going as we speak so it is rolling out little by little! Between the ages of 2 to 5, I knew I wanted to be some sort of an entertainer. My youthful imagination was opened by three Females-Marilyn Monroe, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Britney Spears. My dream was all I could think about. Their world had an undeniable glamour that captured me from my earliest of memories and coming from a family of I’d guess you can say Rednecks I was a different kind of Travis. One that would add a whole new kind of sass to my family tree. In this post I’m giving those of you who read a tiny piece of my history and in honor of Pride Month a look into when I knew something about my feelings were colorful. Don’t allow what others have to say influence how you view yourself or how you view people. Have an open mind when it comes to learning about others. The experience can be once in a lifetime. Keep your pride humble because everyone should have a sense of pride in themselves. - Paul Travis Ideally everyone has a common knowledge or have heard about affirmations but the role they play psychologically can be very beneficial. The word affirmation was first originated from the Latin term affirmare, which means “to make steady, strengthen.” It’s scientifically proven they purify our thoughts by giving restructure to the dynamic of our brain. In March I did a 31 day project on Instagram where I posted an affirmation daily to help those who need a boost in their confidence and self-esteem. In this post I regrouped the list to give a more in-depth view on them. Why not make life your canvas and create it on your terms. Why not give yourself the chance others have. One thing all successful people have in common is confidence, but it wasn’t handed to us. We earned it. I want to see each of you shine blissfully with the confidence you deserve.
