31 Positive Affirmations To Help Conquer Confidence With

5/4/2017

Ideally everyone has a common knowledge or have heard about affirmations but the role they play psychologically can be very beneficial. The word affirmation was first originated from the Latin term affirmare, which means “to make steady, strengthen.” It’s scientifically proven they purify our thoughts by giving restructure to the dynamic of our brain. In March I did a 31 day project on Instagram where I posted an affirmation daily to help those who need a boost in their confidence and self-esteem. In this post I regrouped the list to give a more in-depth view on them.
Affirmations For Confidence
Why not make life your canvas and create it on your terms. Why not give yourself the chance others have. One thing all successful people have in common is confidence, but it wasn’t handed to us. We earned it. I want to see each of you shine blissfully with the confidence you deserve.
What Are Positive Affirmations?
I have a handful of books that include various affirmations and I read a group daily. If you were to do so not only does your mindset improve, your life will as well. Affirmations do indeed strengthen the belief we have in ourselves. It comes with reassurance when we verbally affirm our dreams and ambitions that our vision will become our present day life.

With the ability to rewire our brain they raise, like physical exercise, the level of feel-good hormones and push our minds to a more positive thought process. This is also a very spiritual way of life that I have journeyed on myself and have been doing for the past 5 years. I was tired of feeling so low about who I was and needed a change. Practicing these have helped in that sense.

Affirmations adjust your inner dialogue. It gives more meaning to the words you use and the way you use them. It personally added to the way I use words about myself, life and what I want out of it. Creating greater awareness inside will open the doors you need on the outside.

Both women and men suffer from a struggle of self-confidence. It stems from comparisons we do of ourselves from a reflection of others we see. When you hear these positive words it develops our self-improvement especially when you’re not accustomed to hearing them. It takes time. You have to have patience with yourself, but allowing any positive affirmation to bring a meaningful touch to your mind, body and soul will greatly add to the life you deserve.

Even you think about it any spoken word is a craft of art. Everything in life is energy and what you put out there will influence the colors in our universe. Piece by piece you are crafting up a portrait of something. Why not make life your canvas and create it on your terms. Why not give yourself the chance others have. One thing all successful people have in common is confidence, but it wasn’t handed to us. We earned it. I want to see each of you shine blissfully with the confidence you deserve.

Here are the 31 affirmations I put out daily on my Instagram back in March:

  • I am capable of achieving my goals.
  • I am worthy of love, joy, and success.
  • I am attracting all the right people into my life.
  • I approve of myself and feel great about myself.
  • It matters little what others say. What matters is how I react or what I believe.
  • I release the need to prove myself to anyone as I am my own self and I love it that way.
  • I deserve all that is good. I release any need for misery and suffering.
  • My mind is full of gratitude for my lovely and wonderful life.
  • Today, I am brimming with energy and overflowing with joy.
  • I forgive those who have harmed me in my past and peacefully detach from them.
  • My ability to conquer my challenges is limitless; my potential to succeed is infinite.
  • I am courageous and I stand up for myself.
  • I deserve all good things.
  • I wish good fortune and happiness for myself, and everyone.
  • I acknowledge my own self-worth; my confidence is soaring.
  • I wake up today with strength in my heart and clarity in my mind.
  • Happiness is a choice. I base my happiness on my own accomplishments and the blessings I’ve been given.
  • My thoughts are filled with positivity and my life is plentiful with prosperity.
  • I am worthy of happiness.

  • I am worthy of love.
  • I am releasing negative thoughts.
  • Every moment I am here is a gift.
  • I am worthy of joy.
  • Life is a gift I choose to fill with joy.
  • Because I believe in myself so will others.
  • I treasure my imperfections.
  • I have the knowledge to succeed.
  • I have the ability to grow and change.
  • I am choosing inner peace over internal conflict.
Tips On How To Put Them To Use:
  • First and foremost you need to find a book, or resources that have them. This list is a great place to start, but I highly encourage you go to a local bookstore. If you don’t want to spend full price on a book check the clearance section you will most likely find a few of them in there. The genre is usually New Age.
  • When you read them have little sticky notes next to the ones you adore. Write them on an index card or start making a list so you can re-read them everyday, and when a new one comes up you will add to the list making it huge. You can even divide each into a sections so if you’re feeling low about that part of your life take out that list and kick that negativity to the side embracing the star you are.
  • Read the list first thing in the morning before you check social media, emails or anything. Your mind is very open in the first hour or so of rising from a sleep. You will impact your conscious and subconscious, which is where your power lives.
  • The more you practice and read them the more you will see the improvement in your life. It won’t happen over night as a lot of people lack in the patience group so keep at it. Taking 10 minutes out of your day to bring a greater sense of yourself is worth it.
Always and forever take care of yourself. Do not allow anyone to derail you from a dream you have for yourself. Stand strong. Be kind. And I know it can be hard but try to love yourself.

I love you all,

Paul Travis
