I had a content meeting recently and I thought this would be a good idea to do a weekly recap of my posts on social media incase you missed it. All of the pictures below are from my Instagram feed, but they all go onto my public profiles; Facebook, Twitter and so forth. I love connecting with all my fans and am always coming up with cool concepts for posts. For the month of March I am posting my favorite positive affirmations once a day. Check out the recap below!
Davey Duzit is a brave man determined to make his dreams a reality and is doing so everyday. He has talent that is meant to be heard and is sharing his story to help you see anything is possible despite any struggles you may endure.
My advice is to be yourself, focus, work hard, but have fun. It’s not an industry where things just happen over night and you really have to be passionate. In saying that do what makes you happy-Davey Duzit
For an early x-mas present for my fans I wanted to release a new song. I have a ton of projects I'm working on that require a lot of attention and I don't want to rush anything, but I made a promise to everyone who listens about releasing a new song. I've come along way and this celebrates my journey so far. I hope you enjoy and feel inspired to follow your own path in life! Much love & Merry Christmas!
"I know where I wanna be, trust me when I say I'll get there"

A well known book reviewer took my world by surprise when she reviewed my #1 Best-Seller, Who I Am: Poetry! It was spread across the web in July 2016! If you haven't had the chance check out this wonderful review that made my day so joyful, please do and share if you can! I have given a direct link to her website, but this can be found on amazon and even other sites that Robin works with! If you found this review helpful make sure to press the (yes) underneath it!
As always, much love & thank you for all the kindness you've blessed me with!
I once asked myself a question: In a world full of artists whom have been gifted with a various amount of talent how can one simply find their place in this world? The answer was simple. By being themselves.
Hmm...how does that happen? Well, I am glad you asked. You follow the core of your heart which will share your own unique story.
Writing is my gift from God. Where my heart and soul uses it is the place it's meant to be. Before all of this began a very powerful source once said to me: "When you get that sudden burst of inspiration don't question it, just follow."
As you can see from my history so far I have expanded my talents to work on many projects. Some have been released while others are in the process. My growth as a person and artist happens daily because I follow that sudden burst of inspiration. For today's post I wanted to focus on 5 Powerful Reasons I Write My Own Music
My EDM Remix/Cover of Lana Del Rey's Gods & Monsters. Lana is my idol and the original version of this song hits home with me. With my new music team I'm looking forward to the next phase for me in music. Hope you enjoy!
P.s - I am relaunching my blog next week so get super excited! There are a lot of cool things coming your way!
When the first demo version of "Keep These Lips Sealed" was uploaded instead of the mastered song my heart became devastated. I had a serve panic attack (I cried) because it's one of my favorite songs from Tigress. It's so personal and real. This version will be featured on my Alluring Liar-EP out 10/28 but you can enjoy it now! If you'd like a free download please subscribe to my mailing list! xoxo- love you always!
Someone once told me go where you fear the most and where everyone doubted those abilities. In those moments I became unchained unleashing the Tigress- Paul Travis
During writing Tigress I fully enjoyed every piece, and second of it. I really overcame a lot of my own anxiety. Fears of being judged. I wasn't hiding behind a character. I was coming into my own.
I felt every emotion you can image. Had to face memories that may of brought pain but made me strong. I worked every single day for at least 4 months. There was day I was up for more than 24 hours. I wrote about that day in a different blog post earlier on during my recording sessions of Tigress. You can read (here)
One of my darkest moments while writing it was when I became inspired for Darling, which is a song about my life since making a dent in the industry. There is much waiting between projects and press events that you tend to feel doubtful. That was my reminder to how those doubts are not real, to stay focused and to never forget how unique I am. We all are in a fabulous way. Another was when Here The Demons Waltz was created. The song centers around a time my depression took control of me. It was the strongest it has been in a longtime during it the process. Recording Tigress really pulled me from a very unexpected attack of it.
Power really infused in my being because I never stop fighting. The kind where my self-worth was restored. Songs like Tigress, Unapologetic, Hollywood Hills, Hunter, Portrait Of Perfection, Keep These Lips Sealed (which the one placed on Tigress is the WRONG VERSION-MY HEART WAS BROKEN WHEN I REALIZED WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE UPLOAD. MY TEAM MADE ME FEEL BETTER THOUGH) Luckily, my EP, Alluring Liar, out on 10/28/16, will have the official version on it. I can't wait for you guys to hear it because it's one of my favorite songs, but those collection of songs I mentioned really showed me how gifted I am, no matter what negative things people have tried to tell me and make me feel like. I'm a beautiful, powerful, born Tigress who can't be tamed.
I thought back to the moments when love took control and I was someone who always put love last, even though I craved it. Hypnotizing Love was about my first real heartbreak. The kind where when it hits you. During that stage you lose yourself and become depressed. It was the first song that I recorded for Tigress. Everlasting is about a guy who was so annoying and all he wanted was for me to give him a taste, but he tried playing the prince charming card. I can see right through that. Last was the single, that you, my adoring fans who I love so much made a hit, Pretty Killer. That song takes place of when I was ready to find a man and kept coming up short. It was a tiny glimpse into the wild stage of my life.
Working on my second album currently is showing me how much I'm improving as a singer/songwriter. My EDM influenced album Tigress was released worldwide on 9.30.16, and it took my music career into the next level. Words can't ever share how thankful I am. I'm so happy you guys are listing and enjoying it. Like I said before, power really infused in my being. The kind where my self-worth was restored. I can't wait for you to see what's next since I unleashed the Tigress inside me!
Much love! xo
