Reflecting On 5 Reasons Why I Haven't Given Up & You Shouldn't Either

Let me start off by saying I have been called every negative name in the book by naysayers and told all the ways I wasn't good enough for basically anything/everything. When you feel so passionate about something then there is no reason for you to doubt yourself, and if you do ask yourself why? Being able to reflect on things bothering or blocking you can be the push you need. Today I am reflecting on those very moments I didn't give up.

1. Others Don't Define Me, I Define Myself
I sometimes wonder where these individuals got their mind. There is a big difference between being rude or helpful. A lot times people tend to talk instead of listen. LISTEN! When someone comes to you don't give them all the wrong reasons, but balance it out-if you are in the trade or profession that the person is speaking about then it's different, but if you are talking from your own personal opinion it's better to leave it alone. Killing someones dream before it begins can do a lot of harm to you karma wise. Always take advice from the people who are where you want to be, not those who are in a different mind frame.

2. I Make The Rules Here, Not You
What other peoples term of success is may differ from yours. Make your own rules and follow them, if they need to be adjusted then adjust-only if your heart and soul is nudging at you to do it.

3. You Get Better With Experience
You're not going to come out the best on your first, second or even third time around. It takes time. It takes dedication. It takes a commitment to yourself and dream. All the projects I have done now I can promise you the final result will be what it's meant to be. The next time around you take all what you learned and apply it like never before. You have to work hard but if you enjoy it the work won't feel like it's hard. If you feel discouraged by others you admire, remember they were once there also. Don't compare yourself. You got this! Have faith, patience and HAVE FUN!

Ask. Believe. Receive
-winks-

4. I'm Stubborn As Hell
I won't stop until I get it right. I won't listen to others who go against what I truly feel. I can't explain that fire inside but I just keep going, and going. It's a thrill. All my handwork pays off and I feel good about myself. As should you all. Take it one step at a time.

5. My Passion Is Stronger Than My Doubts And Others Who Don't Believe In Me
This is the most important one to me. You have to have passion for what you're doing, especially in anything you want in life. That passion will drive you to where you are meant to be.

I have a much longer list, but I'll save that for a different post. How about you guys, do you have your own reasons to why you haven't given up on anything you want in life? Please feel free to comment and share below!

Much Love & Blessings As Always!
